We sincerely thank Jr Past Governor Tim Phillips and the Janesville WI Moose Lodge 197 for holding the 2nd Rocktober Fest ---  raising funds for Gimme Five AND enabling members and guests to have a fun-filled evening as well. 
 
We want to get the word out about how much fun we had raising money for Gimme 5 and Moose Charities. We have many new items this year as the Moose Legion will have a display for partiers to take their picture like a rock star, the Women of the Moose will be selling Rocktoberfest T-Shirts, 50/50 raffles, and many more fun items. I have purchased over 200 give-aways to the first 200 people that purchase a wristband (rock necklaces).
 
We have lowered our costs for bands with one donating their entire time.  Last year we paid $1700 in bands, this year only $500. :) Last year we had 177 people enjoy this fun fundraising event. I am praying for 300 people this year. We have been doing many publicity items on this so early.  I have also invited our Friends from the Elgin lodge. We visited their lodge his year and took flyers down to them.
 
I will keep you posted as to our successes. Oh the Rocktoberfest is on Saturday from 4P-midnight October 23, 2010.
