“The West Virginia Moose Association has approved raising $30,000 to “Feed our Family” over a two-year time span– for the West Virginia Residence Home at Mooseheart.  What a great idea – and this is in addition to the funds the W.V. Association and Fraternal Units have been raising for Mooseheart and Moosehaven in celebration of the Association’s 75th Anniversary.”

“We send our heartfelt thanks to each and every Association and Fraternal Unit for your ongoing support of our two great cities – Mooseheart and Moosehaven.”

“Sincerest thanks to the Michigan WOTM State Sport Chairman Jeanette Henry for her continued commitment and success with the WOTM Sports Program.  For years, Jeanette has organized and managed State Sports tournaments for the Michigan Co-workers.  From each tournament, there has always been a donation of the net proceeds to Mooseheart or to one of the special programs in behalf of Mooseheart and Moosehaven.

She and the Ionia Chapter 478 (Hostess Chapter for the tournaments) held a successful and fun-filled Golf Tournament that enabled $2,012.84 to be donated to Gimme 5 and a Bowling Tournament that facilitated the donation of $601.37 to the Gimme 5 Endowment Campaign as well.

We give our Heartfelt Thanks to Jeanette Henry – to Ionia Chapter 478 – and to all the Co-workers who participated in the tournaments.

Sincerest Thanks to attendees at the Pennsylvania Annual Convention/Conference and to Official Visitors Byron Dalton, Assistant Director of Membership and Karol Smith, Past Grand Regent, for the outstanding competition held to sell the Moose Charities Florida Get-A-Way Vacation. The contest was won by the LOOM - between the LOOM and WOTM members, $1,580. worth of chances were sold.

Remember - there are two drawings - one week stay, round-trip transportation and $500 spending money to each lucky couple.

On behalf of our Mooseheart ‘kids’ - we say “Thanks, Pennsylvania!!”
