Sincerest thanks to the co-workers of Beckley WV Chapter 822 for an outstanding fundraiser in behalf of the WV Residence at Mooseheart.

Co-workers Pam Hollandsworth and Betty Aliff conceived and spearheaded the fundraising idea – tickets sold and a drawing held for a “folding WV chair filled with WVU items” donated by the chapter co-workers that resulted in a donation in the amount of $972.49 to the Project WV Home.

We gratefully acknowledge and thank Eddie Worth and Billy Britt, Virginia Moose Association Gimme Five Committee, and all who assisted in a successful Gimme Five fundraiser.

The Virginia Moose Association held a contest that ran from Jan 1, 2010 thru June 30,2010 to promote the Gimme 5 program with the winner receiving an all expense paid trip for 2 to Mooseheart.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Agnew a longtime Moose member from Woodbridge Lodge #583 won the trip. They had the opportunity to visit Mooseheart in September and thoroughly enjoyed it, writing in a thank you note "I wish all the Moose members could see Mooseheart".  We feel this was a very successful contest as Gimme 5 collected several thousand dollars more than what we were averaging.  A special thanks go out to Paula Brazell, VMA Executive Administrator, VMA Board of Officers for their assistance and support – and to Gary Urwiler, Superintendent of Education.
