A New Year’s Reflection

By: Jenna Johnson

It’s safe to say that 2020 was quite the year for everyone and as I look back on my first full calendar year working at Moose Charities, there was quite a bit I learned in those unprecedented 12 months. Honestly, I struggle to remember the beginning of 2020…before we reached the depth of the pandemic, before working from home, before masks, or before lots and lots of hand sanitizer. So much has happened. The events and details all seem to jumble together. But, there are still things that really stick out in my mind, the things that provided some light in a sometimes-dark period of time.

While we couldn’t count on much for certain last year, I could certainly count on my team at Moose Charities. Through the ups and downs, and what seemed to be constant changes, the office ladies at Moose Charities continued to power through with good spirits. Some of those days, work was the only thing that kept me grounded. We never veered from our mission or each other. Working in an environment in which your duties affect more people than just ourselves was the ultimate motivator. I’m very proud of all the work our team was able to accomplish during such times, and truly grateful for our donors that continue support of our mission as well. I think it’s safe to say that the work of Moose Charities with the support received from our amazing donors in 2020 have made a difference. We’ve got a lot to be proud of!

As we enter month two of the new year, I’m excited to see what more we as a team can do. And, I’m anxious to hear the inspiring stories from our members and friends who help us to take care of our Moose communities.

  1. Jenna,
Thank you for your inspirational words and glad you stuck with Moose Charities through this difficult year. The dedicated members of Moose never cease to amaze me, through tough times they remember our Mission, caring for Children and Seniors and also helping in our Communities. This Pandemic has brought out the best in our members, we’ve read about how members have helped feed those in need where they live and many still made donations to Moose Charities.
You started a job at a tough time and thank goodness you’ve remained a part of a Great Team and I’d like to personally thank you and the Moose Charities Staff for a job well done.
    Moose Proud Donor.

    1. Sandy,

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are always grateful for donors like you who help us carry on our mission.

      Jenna
