After five months of working at Moose Charities, I finally went through the process to become a Moose Member. A new co-worker was also interested in joining the Moose; so we took advantage of the free application fee that went through 01/31/2022. After completing the application and receiving our acceptance into the Batavia Moose Lodge, we have been waiting for our new membership cards to come in the mail.
When I speak with many of you, one of the first things I ask you is, “What is your Moose Member ID?”
The typical answers I get are:
“Wait, it’s in my wallet!”
“Hold on, I can only remember the first few numbers.”
“Oh sure, my Moose Member ID is…”
Those who know their ID number by heart usually tell me a story as to why they have it so deeply ingrained in their memory. Maybe they were a Territory Manager for a number of Lodges or a Recorder for their Chapter. Regardless, to think that a random selection of a 7 digit ID number can tether so many memories for all of you is heart warming. I cannot wait to receive my first Moose Member ID in the mail.

My moose id is 10539724 I hold it close to my heart the first time we went to moose heart and the kids ask are you my moose daddy. That why i put my card close to my heart
