Having the opportunity to work on the Mooseheart campus is a huge perk of my job! The one main question I get asked when I say that I work at Mooseheart is, “What’s behind that gatehouse?”
Often times, I have a hard time trying to describe to anyone who isn’t a Moose member what Mooseheart really is. Honestly, there is no place like it. Driving around campus and seeing all that has been accomplished in the past 100+ years showcases how unique of a place it is. As soon as you drive in from the gatehouse, you see the beautiful bronze Moose statue and the Campanile building towering near it.

Since I began working here in August of 2021, I have had the pleasure of seeing the campus change over through the seasons. In the fall, there were all the colors changing with over 1,000 Veterans Walk displays and flags waving in the wind. In the winter I watched the Holiday Lights get put up for all to see in wonder. Now that the snow is finally melting away here in Illinois, spring is beginning to take over the campus. I am left with the anticipation to see Mooseheart’s Graduation along side the Pilgrim March into the House of God in June.
What are some of your favorite experiences on the Mooseheart Campus?
Our visit was Ramblers homecoming vs the Riverton Falcons. A fun week-end. My first visit to the campus was wonderful. I’ll be back for the dedication of the MAC
Hello John,
We look forward to seeing you again on campus! Stop by at Moose Charities!
