League of Guardians

Hello, Moose members! As the fiscal year closes, we have a lot to celebrate this year at Moose Charities. We have about 882 people who have joined the League of Guardians for our current fiscal year 2021 – 2022; and the best part is that there’s still time to join!

What is the League of Guardians? It’s an elite group of donors who donate over $1,000.00 or more to Moose Charities. I spoke with Past Governor Carl Gaiser from Yuma AZ Lodge 1627 about why he and his wife became League of Guardians and he said, “My wife and I have been in the League of Guardians for 7 years now and the reason we decided to join was because it is all about the kids.”

How do you join the League of Guardians? To qualify, it’s pretty simple – total household giving equals $1,000.00 or more to Moose Charities during a fiscal year (May 1st – April 30th). Many members achieve this by setting up a monthly gift of $84.00 or more through our M+M club or with one single large donation. Any donation made by an individual to Moose Charities counts toward the League of Guardians!

What happens once you are in the League of Guardians? Members of the League of Guardians are recognized in the Moose Magazine, on the Moose Charities website, and at the annual League of Guardians Recognition Dinner during the International Moose Convention. Below are some examples of the League of Guardian pin’s and corresponding ribbons for each year you join.
