Today I had the pleasure of accepting a check in the amount of $500 that was awarded to Bruce Strandberg a member of Lakes Moose Family Center 1865 and Western Washington Moose Legion 17 for him being named volunteer of the 4th Quarter of FY 2016 by his employer PCSI. Bruce could have chose any charity he wanted to donate this check to but being a Past Governor and an outstanding member of our Lodge without hesitation he said Mooseheart.
After the presentation I was talking to his boss about Mooseheart and she told me she thought it was a wonderful place as she had read all about it on their website and that Bruce talks about it every opportunity he gets to anyone that will listen.
